Fernando Otero is the architect of catastrophe accumulation data systems and a risk manager / reinsurance buyer for an insurance company in the Dominican Republic, which has historically been seen as both earthquake- and hurricane- exposed, especially in the wake of Hurricane Georges, which caused huge insured losses in 1998. |
