Summary
The derivation of new mortality tables and technical basics poses special demands on the actuary. The most important steps and decisions, from the ordering and delivery of the observation data for all members to the publication of the final tables of the Federal Insurance Fund (EVK 2000), are discussed. The author describes in detail the quality of the data; the exact calculation of the totality of risk and number of insured events for each age and sex; special conditions for the ages 55 - 65; and the calculation of the raw base values and their adjustment. For the first time rates for entry and probabilities for leaving the pension fund are shown. |
