 Patricia Guinn

Curriculum

Patricia Guinn serves on Towers Perrin's Executive Council as Managing Director of Tillinghast - Towers Perrin and Towers Perrin Reinsurance. She is responsible for a staff of over 925 people in more than 40 offices around the world. Tillinghast - Towers Perrin and Towers Perrin Reinsurance help financial services clients improve business performance through quantitative analysis, insight, execution and risk transfer solutions. 

Ms. Guinn is also a member of the Towers Perrin Board of Directors. Towers Perrin is a $ 1.5 billion international firm providing a full range of human resource and financial service industry consulting. Over 9,000 employees serve clients around the globe, including 370 of the Fortune 500 global companies. 

Ms. Guinn's consulting expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, financial projections and performance measurement for life insurers. Ms. Guinn's speaks regularly at industry and professional meetings, has published several articles and is active in professional matters. She has also provided expert witness testimony at insurance department hearings. 

Ms. Guinn's recent consulting assignments include:

performing actuarial appraisals and conducting actuarial due diligence investigations in connection with merger and acquisition transactions

advising foreign insurers on various options for entering the U.S. life insurance market

assisting large insurers in implementing value-based performance measurement systems

 
Ms. Guinn is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Member of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. She has served on the American Academy of Actuaries Committee on Guides to Professional Conduct, the Actuarial Standards Board Task Force on Actuarial Appraisals and the Section Council of the Society of Actuaries Product Development Section. Ms. Guinn graduated from Hendrix College and furthered her studies with post-graduate courses at Columbia University.
