Bob Anker began his actuarial and insurance career thirty-eight years ago after graduation from Lawrence University in Appleton Wisconsin. At the end of 1997 he retired from the industry but has remained active in the profession as well as in a number of civic and charitable organizations.
Bob has held CEO positions in life, health and property-casualty companies and has broad experience with corporate boards, industry and professional associations and a range of other organizations from United Ways to chambers of commerce to school boards to social service and arts organization boards.
Mr. Anker is a trustee of the Actuarial Foundation and has served in vice presidential roles for and on the boards of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the American Academy of Actuaries. He is a past president of the CAS and is currently President-elect of the Academy. |
