Biographical Sketch: Adam Butt has been teaching actuarial science at the Australian National University (ANU) since 2005. He has a strong interest in education issues and is currently the nominated accreditation actuary for ANU in its accreditation with the Actuaries Institute (Australia). He has also been heavily involved in the preparation, delivery and marking of courses for the Actuaries Institute.
Adam's interest in actuarial education issues extends to publications on teaching methods in actuarial science and conference presentations in the U.S. and Australia on the key issues facing actuarial education. The team involved in the research being presented all have long distiguished careers in actuarial education.
