Biographical Sketch:
Luc Noubissihas 12 years of experience as Finance professional, with high-level management positions in Banking and Insurance. He successfully built and led multi-cultural teams to carry out commercial and marketing campaigns for the first financial group in the Central Africa region. 

Currently, he is Insurance Supervisor at CIMA (Interafrican Conference for Insurance Markets), in charge of controlling more than 150 insurance companies across the continent.  He holds a BSc in Computer Science, and MBA from Hult International Business School. He has proven skills in actuarial sciences as well as Islamic finance.

Prior to his current position, he worked as Head of Operations for SAAR-VIE, the Life insurance subsidiary of a medium-size financial holding leading the Banking and Insurance industries in Central Africa. Within five years (from 2006 to 2011), he successfully changed the perspective of the company, from a cumulative loss to a profitable firm, tripled the sales and doubled the value of the share.

Among his numerous social activities, he works as General Secretary of the Joseph Merrick Centre (JMC), a non-profit organization founded in 1999 and which seeks to open the paths for dialogue, communication and wealth to marginalized and vulnerable groups. He participated, in 2009, to the creation of the first church-owned microfinance institution in Cameroon (CAMED). In 2012, he launched the project Africa Christian Mutual Fund (ACMF), a not-for-profit organization that provides insurance products and operates for social, intellectual, educational, and religious purposes for the benefit of its members and the public.
