Biographical Sketch: Emmanuel PIERRON currently holds the position of Chief technical and Claims officer at AXA Global Direct France (AGD) encompassing Direct Assurances and Natio Assurance. He is responsible of the technical results of these entities. He manages the pricing and underwriting topics. Moreover, he is in charge of the claims management process and therefore the services provided to the customers.
Emmanuel has had 12 years of experience in Risk Management and Pricing / Underwriting in AXA or AGD Headquarters. In particular, he developed the risk modelling capabilities for AXA and implemented optimal risk management strategies for AXA entities and the AXA Group. He has recently redesigned the pricing framework and sophistication path for AGD including market intelligence facilities and customer and competitor behaviours analyses.
Emmanuel is a graduate of ENSAE and DEA MASE (PARISDauphine) (class of 1999) and member of the French Association of Actuaries (IAF). He has been involved in several academic tasks such as teaching at ENSAE and managing two “CIFRE thesis” (“insurance sector cost of capital”; “insurance market cycle”) that has been successfully achieved.
