Biographical Sketch: Ken Guthrie is the Managing Director – Education at the Society of Actuaries where he manages the qualification process for 35,000 actuarial candidates and the professional development program for the Society’s 24,000 members. Ken took up this post in January 2007 and was previously Director, Professional Education at the Actuaries Institute in Australia.
Ken has over 20 years of management experience in adult education, ranging from General Manager to Head of Teacher Training. Originally from New Zealand, Ken completed his Bachelors degree at the University of Canterbury and his Masters degree at Macquarie University
