Biographical Sketch: Bob Meilander is currently vice-chair of the Actuarial Standards Board (U.S.), having served as chair in 2012 and 2013. He has been a member of the ASB since 2007. Bob retired from his position as vice president and corporate actuary
for Northwestern Mutual in Milwaukee in 2012 after 37 years of service.
