Biographical Sketch: Current Role:
- Rhonda Aikens is currently the Vice President and Senior Risk Officer for P&C. The P&C Risk Management team is responsible for the transparent and prudent oversight of risk in partnership with the business.
Prior Experience:
- Initially joining USAA in 1987, Rhonda served in a number of positions within USAA P&C's Actuarial department, including Assistant Vice President of Actuarial Development and Catastrophe Risk Management and Executive Director of Actuarial Data Support and Financial Actuary. From 2003 to 2005, Rhonda was with GE Reinsurance as a Second Vice President with the North America Broker Pricing team. She returned to USAA in 2005 as the Actuarial officer leading the Auto Pricing team before transitioning to her current role.
Education:
- Rhonda graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northeast Missouri State University (now known as Truman State University) with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's of Science in Education in Secondary Mathematics. She became a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 1995 and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 1994. While at GE, Rhonda earned the Green Belt in Six Sigma project management.
