Biographical Sketch: Kristi started at the SOA as the Consulting Staff Health Fellow in April 2012. She also heads up a small consulting business. She recently worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota where she held several positions including the director of the group actuarial division and a role as a benefit consultant within sales and underwriting. She has experience in directly assisting employers with benefit design changes, counseling on policy changes to reduce cost trend, and hands-on work with the Retiree Drug Subsidy program and the ERRP program. Her past experience also includes ten years in the retirement business at Towers Perrin. Kristi graduated from Cornell University in 1994 with a B.S. in Statistics and Biometry and is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries.
