In addition to the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening and Gala Dinner on Thursday evening, the Congress week will include open afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday to allow delegates and their guests to enjoy all that the Washington, D.C. region has to offer. Organized tours, as well as limited attendance workshops and field trips, will help you make the most of these afternoons.

The Town Square (Exhibit Hall) will be the gathering place each morning for delegates and registered accompanying persons to meet, enjoy continental breakfast, network, use the internet café, shop for regional hand-made gifts, and explore the offerings of the ICA 2014 sponsors and exhibitors. The Town Square will serve as the gathering place for delegate networking and breaks throughout ICA 2014.

Throughout the week, various optional tours are available for those with free time – ranging from sunrise photo tours of the monuments and cherry blossoms, to an exploration of Abraham Lincoln's Washington. The Hosts DC Tour Desk in our registration area will help you with information and details regarding the optional tours that you have conveniently pre-reserved. The location of the Washington Marriott Wardman Park on the Metro subway line and bus lines also provides a convenient opportunity for you to explore Washington's museums, galleries, monuments, spring flowers, and parks that match your specific interests.

Open evenings (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) are available for delegates and guests to socialize with other delegates, to explore the city's vibrant restaurant scene, or to take in various cultural and entertainment events on your own. We will have a restaurant desk available in our ICA 2014 registration area to help you select and reserve a restaurant that matches your appetite and your budget.

Before or after ICA 2014, expand your exploration of the region, or further afield, with a customized tour.

A mobile app will be available shortly which will allow attendees to get the most current version of the list of attendees, maps of the resort property and much more.

We look forward to welcoming you to Washington, DC, and to ICA 2014. We know that you will enjoy yourself!
