The International Actuarial Association (IAA) is pleased to invite you to a webinar introducing International Actuarial Note 200 on the Application of IFRS S2 Climate-Related Disclosures (IAN 200), developed by the IAA’s Climate and Sustainability Committee.
As climate-related reporting requirements continue to take hold around the world, actuaries are increasingly involved in helping organizations understand, assess, and communicate climate-related risks and opportunities. IAN 200 provides practical, educational support to actuaries working in this evolving area of practice.
The webinar will provide an overview of IAN 200, its purpose and structure, and how it can assist actuaries in performing actuarial services in connection with IFRS S1, IFRS S2, and the International Standard of Actuarial Practice 8 (ISAP 8). The presenters will highlight practical examples and discuss how the Note addresses the four key pillars of climate-related disclosure: Governance, Strategy, Risk Management, and Metrics and Targets.
This webinar will be an opportunity to learn more about the new Note, hear from members of the team involved in its development, and gain practical insights into how actuaries can contribute to climate-related disclosures.
