The purpose of the Enterprise and Financial Risk Forum (EFRF) is to facilitate discussion and knowledge-sharing among Full Member Associations on issues of international relevance for actuaries working in the area of enterprise, financial and investment risks.
General Insurance
The purpose of the General Insurance Forum (GIF) is to facilitate discussion and knowledge-sharing among Full Member Associations on issues of international relevance for actuaries working in the area of general insurance, and related self-insurance and reinsurance matters.
Note: In various regions of the world, “general insurance” is also known as “non-life” insurance, or “property and casualty (P&C)” insurance, or "short-term" insurance.

How can I contribute to the work of the IAA?
The IAA is an association whose membership is composed of actuarial associations from different countries of the world.
To actively participate in the work of the various committees, forums or task forces as a member or observer, you must be appointed by a Full Member association. Please see the list of member associations:
