As Executive Director, Mathieu oversees the work of the IAA and ensures the organization delivers on its vision, mission, and strategic objectives. A thoughtful and supportive leader, he works closely with the Secretariat team while also supporting the volunteers and leaders involved in the IAA’s governance bodies and global representation.
With more than 15 years of experience as an NGO executive, Mathieu is a governance professional who has also worked as a risk manager in mortgage insurance and as a risk consultant.
“Working on international matters with a small team means every day brings something different. The agility required to adapt to evolving environments is a constant source of motivation,” says Mathieu.
He enjoys staying active and often joins group runs during actuarial events around the world. His latest challenge? Training for his first Hyrox competition.
