Celebrating 50 Years of the Singapore Actuarial Society

The IAA was pleased to be represented by Bozenna Hinton, Immediate Past President, at the Asian Actuarial Conference 2026 in Singapore.
The conference brought together actuarial professionals from across Asia and beyond to exchange knowledge, strengthen professional connections and discuss developments shaping the future of the actuarial profession.
Bozenna also delivered a presentation on “The Future Actuary: Creating Impact in a Changing World”, exploring how the profession is evolving in response to AI, emerging risks and a changing risk landscape.
During the conference, Bozenna presented a commemorative plaque to Alex Lee, President of the Singapore Actuarial Society, marking the Society’s 50th anniversary.
The IAA congratulates the Singapore Actuarial Society on this important milestone and looks forward to continued collaboration with the actuarial community in Singapore and across the region.
International Actuaries Day 2026: Learning Across Borders

The IAA will host International Actuaries Day 2026: Learning Across Borders, a global webinar bringing together actuarial leaders from around the world to share perspectives on the challenges, opportunities and innovations shaping the profession.
The webinar will also explore how collaboration through the IAA supports the actuarial community globally.

Tokyo Council and Committee Meetings | Bedroom Reservations

The deadline to make your hotel reservations at the Hilton Odaiba is October 2nd, 2026, but we strongly encourage you to book as soon as possible. Room availability at the group rate is limited, and the block may sell out well before the deadline.
As previously announced, registration is now open for the upcoming IAA Council and Committee meetings in Tokyo. Participants are invited to register by 30 October via the Council and Committee Meetings registration page.

Reminder: Invitation to Express Interest in Hosting ICA 2032
Audience: All
The Executive Committee would like to remind Full Member Associations that there is one month remaining to submit an Expression of Interest in hosting the International Congress of Actuaries in 2032.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 1 October 2026. Details of the bidding process and submission requirements are available in this linked document.
We encourage interested Full Member Associations to begin preparing their submissions and to contact Christian Levac at the IAA Secretariat should they have any questions about the process.
