Jean-François is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. He is a specialist in financial modelling as well as statistical and mathematical applications to finance and insurance. He is also a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. Over the past few years, his research program focused on the construction of complex models for long-term economic predictions, the understanding and management of credit risk, the modelling of option prices, and the development of sustainable retirement solutions and designs. He was the recipient of the first Young Researcher Award of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in 2017. He also won the 2019 Bob Alting von Geusau Prize of the AFIR-ERM Section of the IAA.

Naoki is a Board member of Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance Company, in charge of the ERM Department and the financial Reporting and Actuarial Department. He is also a Board Member of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan, the Chairman of the Investment Theory Committee of the IAJ and Fellow of the IAJ, Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan, and Certified International Investment Analyst.

Alexander is an actuary and member of the German Association of Actuaries (DAV). He is Professor at the Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) and adjunct faculty member at the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nürnberg. He studied Mathematics and Economics at Ulm University (Germany) and at the University of West Florida (USA), holds a doctorate and postdoctoral qualification (Habilitation) from FAU and was Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He has worked for several years in the financial services and insurance industry and was a Visiting Scholar at the Aarhus University (Denmark), Florida State University (USA), University of Georgia (USA), University of New South Wales (Australia), and the Waseda University (Japan).

Guangyao is an executive actuary in China Life Reinsurance Company which is an arm of China Reinsurance Group. With 16 years of actuarial career experience, he is leading in corporate valuation and projection covering China mainland, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Bob has extensive experience in regional and transnational actuarial valuation practices such as GAAP, solvency, embedded value, and good expertise in insurance regulation rules, accounting policies, and market diversification across multiple jurisdictions.

Ayse is an associate member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and a fellow actuary of the Actuarial Society of Turkiye. She is currently a senior lecturer at the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies at University of New South Wales, Australia. Prior to this, she was a research fellow in the Department of Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics, Heriot-Watt University, UK, from December 2020 to September 2024, and a post-doctoral researcher from January 2018 to December 2020. She holds a PhD from Hacettepe University, Turkiye, awarded in November 2016.

Lucas brings a well-rounded background that bridges academic rigor and hands-on experience in financial risk and quantitative modeling. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), and a Fellow of Quantitative Finance.
Previously, he was Head of Product Development & Data at LumRisk S.A., managing risk analytics for a large universe of algorithmic trading funds and developing automated market risk and stress testing tools. Earlier roles in Latin America included work in actuarial modeling, credit risk, and insurance product development.
Currently serving as a Manager in Financial Risk Consulting at KPMG Switzerland, Lucas leads projects involving credit risk modeling (AIRB, IFRS 9), liquidity stress testing, FRTB implementation, and the pricing of exotic derivatives.

João is an actuary and fellow of the Brazilian Institute of Actuaries (IBA) and holds a PhD in Statistics. Professor of Actuarial Science at the School of Economics, Business, Accounting, and Actuarial Science at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP). Former Associate Dean of the undergraduate program in Actuarial Science at FEA-USP, one of the few Latin American institutions recognized as a UCAP by the Society of Actuaries. Board member of FIPECAFI, independent member of the Risk Committee at Brasilprev Seguros e Previdência S.A., and Brazilian representative on the Insurance Regulation Committee of the International Actuarial Association. He also serves as a member of the National Actuarial Commission, an advisory body to the National Pensions Superintendency, an agency under the Brazilian Ministry of Social Security.

Lukasz is a Professor at University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences. He graduated from Warsaw School of Economics, received PhD in Mathematics from Institute of Mathematics of Polish Academy of Sciences and Habilitation degree in Economics from Warsaw School of Economics. He is an author of numerous scientific papers on insurance mathematics, financial mathematics and probability published in international journals. He has received many awards for his scientific research, including the Award from the Polish Prime Minister and President. ?ukasz is a member of the Editorial Board of the ASTIN Bulletin and an Associate Editor in the European Actuarial Journal. He is current Vice-President of the Polish Society of Actuaries.

Cathy is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and the Society of Actuaries (SOA). She is a past chair of the International Association of Consulting Actuaries (IACA), a Section of the IAA and past president of the Caribbean Actuarial Association (CAA). She has practiced in the retirement field in actuarial consulting field for over 40 years in England, Jamaica and Canada with large consulting firms and now with Duggan Consulting Limited in Kingston, Jamaica. Cathy is an active volunteer for the IAA, IFoA, SoA and CAA.

Aika is an actuary and financial risk management professional with 15 years cross-over background within banking and insurance industry. She started her career as an independent actuarial consultant working mostly on pensions for large corporates, SMEs, and organizations for eight years. Then moved to work as a Lead Actuary for a pension fund at The Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund (SPK) for three years. She worked five years, first as a Senior Risk Manager and later on as a Specialist in Model Risk Management for DNB Bank in Norway. Aika is now a Director under Financial Risk Management at KPMG Advisory (KPMG Norway).

Şule is an Associate Professor in Actuarial Science at the University of York. She received her PhD in Actuarial Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University and has held various academic positions at the University of Liverpool and Hacettepe University. She is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and a Corresponding Member of the Actuarial Society of Turkey. Sule is a member of the Ogden Working Party and serves as the Director of the Centre for Actuarial Compensation and Valuation of Life (CAVOL) at the University of York. Her research interests include mortality modelling, economic scenario generators, and actuarial compensation. She is also one of the co-editors of the Springer Actuarial Series book, Pandemics: Insurance and Social Protection.

Paul is a qualified actuary and has about 18 years experience across actuarial and risk management roles in reinsurance and direct insurance in Asia. He is now based in London as a senior manager with KPMG UK in the non-life actuarial consultancy practice. He is the co-chair of the IAA AFIR-ERM Environment Risk Working Group and was the past Chair of the Singapore Actuarial Society ERM Committee.

Taiga Yokoyama is a highly experienced actuary with over 10 years of experience in the field. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Actuaries of Japan (IAJ). Taiga currently works as a Manager of Pension Business Consulting Department at Mizuho Trust & Banking, working on valuation, design and ALM of private pension plans, including the development of hedge strategies, strategic asset allocations. He is also active in the actuarial community, having served as a member of the AFIR related Study Group of IAJ and is supposed to be the leader from April 2023. His research paper was presented at AFIR-ERM Colloquium in May 2019, which won one of the three Best Paper Awards.
