Professor of Life Insurance and Finance at the Faculty of Actuarial Science of Anáhuac University since 2003 , and was professor at the Master in Insurance program of ITAM from 1997 until 2007. President of Colegio Nacional de Actuarios (México) from 2013-2015 and President of Asociación Mexicana de Actuarios (1996-1998)

Jorge served as president of the Mexican Actuarial Association and is active in advancing insurance regulation and actuarial education in Latin America.
